March 14: 4:20 PM - Well, it's been a while. I've moved a few times since my last update. I'm still in Redding, CA, but I am now at a different address. I have not had access to a copy of Adobe InDesign so I can update the mailing address on the resume. Since I do have Scribus, I will probably redo my resume in that soon.
October 12, 12:15 PM - I am currently in Redding, CA. I have not changed over my phone number or anything else other than my address yet. The phone number at the top of my web site is my cell phone. Feel free to give me a call if you'd like any work done.
September 11, 7:30 PM - I will be moving to Redding, CA in late September or Early October. I have been getting a lot of e-mails and phone calls from temp agencies with positions available in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina as well as some other places.
I want to start ministry school next year in Redding, CA, and I will be looking for a web design job there. If you don't have a position near Redding, CA or cannot allow telecommuting, I ask that you please not contact me about the job.
July 10, 11:10 PM - I finally got to a computer with InDesign and made some minor updates on my resume. I also exported the resume to other formats so I can edit it. Well, the desktop pupblishing program I have here at home is Scribus. It looks really crazy when importing the SVG version. It does better in Inkscape, though the fonts are changed. (Some of the fonts are changed in Scribus too, and I have the fonts I need for the resume).
Anyway, the resume is uploaded.
July 9, 7:05 PM - It's been a while since I've made an update to this. So, I'm, updating now. I am bringing back Enclave, one of the web sites I used to do. I am still in search of a graphic/web design position, particularly in the Redding/Chico, CA area that I want to move to.
The job with the company I mentioned in my last update didn't work out. So, I must move on, so that's good news for those of you interested in hiring me. I'm available.
April 18, 2:00 PM - I am starting on a new job, designing an e-mail newsletter layout for a company. This company has some major, well known, clients. I'll post more details as I am at liberty to do so.
April 2, 11:20 PM - I am finally getting this site on line. I will constantly work on my portfolio. Be sure to come back and read the latest news and check out the portfolio.
Anyway, I just graduated on March 23rd from the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina. I was the salutatorian for the graduating class of the winter quarter, 2007.
I had some great teachers at the school who really challenged me. It was quite an experience for me.
